A little ABout ME

I hold a BA in theatre and an MFA in Acting. I regularly perform on stage. You may have also heard my voice used for various campaigns with Nike, Colgate, and Toyota and many phone systems. (Press 1 for customer service.)

I discovered my love of design when I co-founded a small theatre company and had no budget for a web designer so I learned how to do it myself. Necessity is the mother of all invention.

My favorite color is yellow. My favorite play is Our Country's Good by Timberlake Wertenbaker. My favorite movies are My Cousin Vinny and Clue.
I love thrifting, FB Marketplace, garage sales, and estate sales. I love kitsch and odd bits and bobs. I'm a maximalist that loves interesting pieces. (My husband refers to my style as whimsigoth.) Favorite piece: my inherited 1920 art deco chalkware camel lamp.
I also hold professional certificates in professional writing, UI/UX design, and web design.
I love reading; books, Reddit, news articles, everything and anything.

I'm a Midwesterner to a fault. If you compliment me on a pair of boots I'm wearing I'm going to tell you the brand, style, that they were on sale and what I ended up paying for them. I might even send you the link. I think Chicago is the greatest American city but I miss NYC every day and visit as often as I can. (I lived there for grad school!) I will die on the hill that Chicago's pizza is THE BEST but I often crave NYC-style white pie. Reading is my first love and the reason why I became an actor. I'm a spontaneous kinda gal always up for an adventure. I wish I could bottle the absolute joy I feel when helping artists and businesses create a website that tells their story. A good website is a necessary component for any business.
Well, someone’s got to break the ice, and it might as well be me. I mean, I’m used to being a hostess; it’s part of my husband’s work, and it’s always difficult when a group of new friends meet together for the first time to get acquainted, so I’m perfectly prepared to start the ball rolling....I mean, I have absolutely no idea what we’re doing here, or what I’m doing here, or what this place is about, but I am DETERMINED to enjoy myself and I’m very intrigued and oh, my, this soup is delicious isn’t it?
